We are Beantage Specialty Coffee Roasters, we are baristas and farmers who hold the belief that coffee is personal, and we take it very seriously every day. This commitment extends to considering every step in the coffee process chain to ensure our customers receive a specialty coffee that enhances their well-being.
Our journey begins with the meticulous selection of ripe, mild coffee from Colombian farms across the three mountainous regions, each blessed with abundant rainfall and different terroirs. We personally visit farmers, scrutinizing their processes of selection, depulping, fermentation, drying, milling, sorting, roasting, roasting selection, and packaging. The result is specialty coffee beans offered in packages with a degassing valve, preserving freshness for an extended period.
Our main goal is to offer a unique sensory coffee experience when enjoying a cup of coffee at either coffee shop or your home, using fresh, high-quality, specialty beans without compromising your health.
We recognize that consistency is one of the biggest challenges in the world of specialty coffee, and we have dedicated time and effort to understand this phenomenon to ensure that our coffee stands out based on its genetic characteristics, process, and terroir.
The name "Beantage" is a fusion of "bean" and "vintage," emphasizing our focus on coffee beans to truly understand and appreciate what we drink. We recognize the importance of educating both Colombians and foreigners about specialty coffee upon its arrival in Colombia. Through this, we aim to redefine the coffee experience, encouraging Colombians and foreigners to forget the taste of poor coffee and embrace specialty coffee as a daily enjoyment.Â
